During COVID, many students struggled with on-line learning. Some tuned out, some felt like they couldn't ask questions. Tutoring is very different. With a one-on-one focus, interactive whiteboard, and dual annotation, almost every student can excel in an online environment. Online math tutoring also offers much more flexibility in scheduling and lower rates. Many parents wanted in person sessions for their child, only to quickly switch to virtual meetings once they saw how well these worked. Of course the choice is yours, and often at least one in-person session can be helpful to get to know each other.
